Intelliwork Outsourcing Philippines, Inc., is currently looking for a full time Researcher Writer/Proofreader for its U.S.-based client, The Knowledge Group, LLC (www.knowledgecongress.org).
Main responsibilities/tasks of the job include but is not limited to:
Creating write ups for webcast (online seminar) topics by conducting his/her own research about the topic from the internet and other search engines such as Google, Yahoo, ask.com, etc.. The write ups are a brief synopsis or summary of the topic, and it’s about 2-3 short paragraphs each. Write ups should be very compelling as this is our way to entice people to participate in the seminar. Plagiarism is strictly prohibited and not allowed. Ensure that all web contents due for publishing are well-written; he/she will review and correct any grammatical, typographical, or compositional errors of all materials that are being sent out or published by the Company.
Furthermore, the successful candidate is responsible in developing conference contents by providing internet research and online marketing support, to ensure timely production of regulatory-focused webcasts in support of the overall goals of the company.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Must possess excellent good oral and technical writing skills in the English language;
- Must be highly motivated and committed to both individual and organizational success;
- Detail-oriented is a must;
- Must be able to come up with 15-20 event write ups a month; and
- Ability to meet deadlines
- Ability to multitask and work under pressure
- Must be internet savvy and has a background in topic research and development using the internet
- Conscientious, detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Reliable and self-motivated; can work under minimum supervision and can work with deadlines
- A team player and can work in a small collaborative team environment
- With a Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Mass Communication, or any related course.
- Preferably with at least one year relevant work experience
- Fresh graduates with strong writing and editorial skills/experience - gained from school (i.e. school organ, school newspaper, etc..) and other related experience are encouraged to apply
